The new year
The Lunar New YearThe Lunar New Year is a great occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year, during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. 一连下了好几天的大雪,破坏了人们过新年的好心情。可是,今儿个总算老天有眼,正月初一赶上了一个大晴天。那跳跃着的阳光调皮地钻进人们的新衣里,发丝里,小朋友装放糖果的口袋里,软融融,暖洋洋的。那舒服劲儿,嗯……,别提了!
听啊,那满载着新年喜气的噼里啪啦的爆竹声,从昨儿晚上十二点一连串的响到这会儿,仿佛预示着人们在这特殊的2010会好事连连,蒸蒸日上,欣欣向荣。
弟弟期末考试考了一个一百分,叔叔买了好多爆竹给他作为奖赏。弟弟放爆竹可是能手,什么花样他那小脑袋都能在眼睛骨碌一转间想出来。即使疯玩一天下来,脸上像个小丑似的,新衣裳也被烫了零星的小洞洞,他也无所谓,照样进行着他的“非常计划”。奶奶对此也总是“无可奈何”的笑笑。
瞧!我家门口坐满了人,亲戚们围在一起天南海北地聊着,人人脸上都笑开了花,他们工作的疲倦和生活的压力,仿佛都被大红的喜气冲走了吧!笑声,说话声,还有那小小的嗑瓜子,嚼蚕豆的声音交融在一起,不显嘈杂,却更显和谐,也许只有在无忧无虑的春节才有这般的感受吧!
今天晚上是我最享受的一个晚上。按我们村的习俗,大年初一晚上是要吃团圆饭的。天渐黑,家里人便忙活起来,我也来帮忙,吉利热闹的气氛和那碗碰撞发出的叮叮咚咚的声音让我觉得很幸福。一切准备就绪,大家也都上了桌,按照惯例,每个人都要说一句吉祥话来庆祝新年,叔叔婶婶、父母都挺“讨厌”的,把我所能想到的词都说了。唉,苦恼!突然脑中亮了一盏神灯,我笑了笑,举起茶杯(以茶代酒):“祝大家吉祥平安天天乐,运转乾坤步步高。”大家都羡慕地看着我,露出了满意的笑容,那是对我的称赞,我心里比樱桃更甜!

除夕这一天对人们来说是极为重要的。这一天人们准备辞旧迎新,吃团圆饭。一年一度的团年饭能充分地表现出家庭成员的互敬互爱。在吃完团圆饭后,就开始守岁了。
最值得小孩子们高兴的不仅仅是在过年的时候能穿新衣,玩鞭炮,最为重要的是能够收到大人们给的压岁钱,收压岁钱也可以说是收红包,因为红色象征活力、愉快与好运。大人们派发红包给未成年的晚辈,是表示把祝愿和好运带给他们。红包里的钱多少并不重要,主要是让孩子们开心,其主要意义是在红纸,因为它象征好运。
